DOES OLIVE + YOU RECOMMEND BACKGROUND COLORS FOR THE WALL FABRICS?
Yes.  We have handpicked a few neutral colors that we like and that also act as a complimentary background color to our wall fabrics.  These include:

Color Disclaimer; Actual product colors may vary. This is due to the fact that every computer monitor has a different capability to display colors and that everyone sees these colors differently. Please contact us if you are trying to match a specific color.


HOW IS THE ORDER SHIPPED AND DOES OLIVE + YOU SHIP OUTSIDE OF THE CONTINENTAL U.S.?
At this time olive + you ships merchandise only to locations within the continental United States and not to international locations.  All merchandise is shipped via USPS Priority mail and will arrive within 1-3 business days after merchandise is shipped.  Shipping prices are a flat fee based on total order weight.  Accessories are shipped in a padded protective envelope.  Wall designs are shipped in 2-5 inch mailing tubes.  When shipped, all merchandise is given a tracking number.  For orders with a value greater than $200, a signature is required upon receipt.  It is the responsibility of the buyer to provide us with the correct shipping address upon placing the order.  It is most important that you inspect the package at the time of delivery.  Ask the carrier for a copy of the delivery receipt.  It is your responsibility to check that all items are correct and all pieces accounted for before you sign.  If the product is damaged in shipping, you may choose to refuse the delivery.  If you choose to refuse the delivery,  you must note the damages on the delivery receipt.  With the proper documentation, olive + you will be happy to assist you in any carrier damage claim.  IT IS IMPORTANT TO INSPECT YOUR ORDER BEFORE ACCEPTING DELIVERY.
In rare instances of a lost or stolen item, olive + you will not be held responsible.   olive + you will not be responsible for claims of theft when proof of delivery is verified by the shipping carrier.  It is the customer’s responsibility to track the package and anticipate its arrival.  We make every effort to make sure our products reach their destination – with every shipment, we provide shipping confirmation and tracking information to the customer.
According to Maine Law, all ME bound items are charged an additional 5.5% sales tax.


HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY ORDER?
All of our products are crafted to order by our team in Yarmouth, Maine.  Due to the nature of our work, we do require production time before shipment.  Our lead time varies from product to product.  Typical orders require 2-3 weeks for fabrication and assembly.  Upon completion, we will send you shipping notification and tracking information.

HOW DO I INSTALL THE WALL FABRIC?
The installation of the wall fabric is easy.  Just peel and stick onto any smooth, dry, clean surface including walls, windows or doors.  For painted surfaces, make sure you allow 30 days for out gassing preventing bubbles and all walls have been primed.  Results will vary on stucco or eggshell painted textured surfaces and it is not recommended for brick, non-painted cement or heavy painted spackled wall board.  Start at the top of the image or design (labeled T) and pull down off the backer paper until you reach the bottom of the design (labeled B).  Do this sequence gradually until the design is square.  Continue this sequence until the entire design is installed on your surface.  If there are any bubbles left under the wall fabric after installation, simply smooth out with your finger or plastic drywall knife.  For larger sizes, an additional person may be useful for smoothing and holding backing sheet while peeling.  If the wall fabric folds back on itself while installing, simply unstick the two pieces and continue sticking.  Once installed save the backer paper for storage or moving to another location.  If the back paper is lost or misplaced, you can store your wall fabric on wax paper.

HOW DO I CLEAN MY WALL FABRIC?
It is not recommended to clean wall fabric with anything other than a dry cloth.  


DO YOU OFFER RETURNS?
At olive + you, we want you to be completely happy with your purchase.  If, for any reason, you are not, you can return any unused merchandise in it’s original condition to us within 30 days of receipt for a full refund of your purchase price less shipping.  Please be aware that you are responsible for shipping charges in both refunds and exchanges.
